Because that could possibly make someone a bit uncomfortable with their MC, especially if they're personal planets. I actually have always thought of myself as way more Sagittarius than Gemini! I have a great sense of humor, see the "bigger picture" way more often than not, love my freedom (well, until I want someone haha), and though I can be focused I wouldn't consider myself a detail oriented person. I DO change my mind like a Gemini though. Maybe there's other qualities about them I'm missing but I haven't recognized that yet. My Jupiter in Gemini (would that alone give me a distaste for everything Jupitarian?) is in the 12th house (Pisces' house ...*of course*) and square my Pisces MC. My Sun, Mercury, and Venus in Aries however, all square Neptune in Capricorn.... in my 7th. I am completely indifferent. Pisces I love the idea of and I am very piscean by description but I bet I would get annoyed with another heavy piscean ahaha :PThat said one of my fave people is a Pisces, Cancer Sun, Sag ASC and I just adore him the89freespiritI don't see the difference between liking the traits of that sign and liking the sign. Trying to separate the two, to me, sounds like an inability to fully handle the Descendant. A misguided expression of the Descendant is having a "me or them" mentality. This is where projection comes in. If you see your Descendant much more in yourself than others or if you see it much more in others than yourself, it gets out of balance. And the key thing here is balance.I think the things people don't like about their Descendant are the things they don't like about themselves, as it's often going against their Ascendant persona. Like with a Cancer Descendant, "I'm not needy! I can take care of myself. I can't stand needy people." (Capricorn) But, at the same time, if Cancer Descendant says, "I'm so caring and giving and it's so hard to meet people like that", then they'll also attract negative Cancer types, who are probably very emotionally self-absorbed and affirm to them that it's tough to find people who care. The Descendant is a constant reflection; it's in you and it's the people in your life, at the same time. Balancing out this angle, by seeing both sides of the coin in the relationship, is the key. Hannaramaa, I do think your Jupiter square Midheaven could explain the aversion to Pisces energy, because these traits might seem to really frustrate (square) your sense of expansion (Jupiter). But, this attitude might often be getting in the way of real success for you! You'll find that people with Pisces placements can often be quite instrumental in your destiny, with a Pisces Midheaven. I do think the Midheaven is what you "want to be when you grow up." Anytime someone resists the energy of their Midheaven, I feel like they are selling themselves short. These are qualities that are going to get you ahead and give you an important place in the world. So, you should work on your Jupiter's discomfort with or disinterest in Pisces stuff. You may be constantly going the other way, more so in Jupiter in Gemini directions, and this can prevent you from achieving all that you can. ------------------Check out My Astrology Blog: http://astroarena12.blogspot.comOdetteI love most planets in Pisces (my MC sign), but I have problems with the Moon in Pisces. Sagittarius (my DC) really depends on whatever else is in their chart. I can have issues with Sag influenced men though, as you know lolIf my DC is Capricorn, then - this doesn't apply to me. I've always liked Capricorn placements. Any personal planet in Capricorn is loveable to me.Solar_Leo_QueenI like Sags, but I'm not a fan of Pisces. Yes, I see them both as flaky except Sag is more inspirational, while I see Pisces as more delusional. It's my Virgo mercury/venus that can't stand it, I guess. Pisceans are really nice and sweet and are the most creative people I've met, but the ones I've met all exhibited the shadow side of Pisces. They were unrealistic and liked to guilt-trip people. Not saying all Pisces are like this, just the ones I've met.12muddyYeah my interactions with people with my dsc signs are difficult. Not that I dislike them as people, it's just that they invoke reactions/feelings/emotions in me that I'd much rather ignore. It's almost as if I become a different person when dealing with them. And often I don't feel well equipped to keep the friendship/relationship. But yeah, balance is key, so I'm trying my best. I'm ok with people of my MC sign. Plut0nian2My MC is either in late Pisces or in early Aries. I find Aries the worst sign.. I dislike them sooo much! Everything about them just irritates me.. If I start using bad words that describe them I won't stop...
